Swedish melodic death metal band ZONARIA — who earlier in the year completed a European tour with IMPALED NAZARENE — has inked a deal with Swedmetal Records (220 VOLT, VIOLENT WORK OF ART) for a CD single release. Entitled "Rendered in Vain", the CD is expected sometime in November.

"Rendered in Vain" was mixed and mastered by Jonas Kjellgren of Black Lounge Studios (CENTINEX, CARNAL FORGE, STEEL ATTACK, SCAR SYMMETRY). The track "Attending Annihilation" features clean vocals by Christian Älvestam (UNMOORED, SCAR SYMMETRY, ANGEL BLAKE). The band also recorded a music video for the title cut, "Rendered in Vain", which can be viewed at www.myspace.com/zonaria.

"Rendered in Vain" track listing:

01. Rendered In Vain
02. Attending Annihilation
03. Ravage The Breed
