ZAN CLAN To Perform Entire 'We Are Zan Clan' Album At SWEDEN ROCK

May 14, 2007

ZAN CLAN, the Swedish group fronted by former SHOTGUN MESSIAH vocalist Zinny Zan, will perform its critically acclaimed album "We Are Zan Clan...Who The Fuck Are You??!" in its interity at the Sweden Rock Festival on June 7 in Sölvesborg, Sweden. There will also be a few surprises at the end of the show.

In other news, ZAN CLAN's forthcoming album has been delayed due to guitarist/producer Chris Laney's (EUROPE, CANDLEMASS, ANIMAL, CRASHDIET, CRUCIFIED BARBARA) surgery and health problems. The band entered Polar Studios earlier this year and is scheduled to complete the effort for a late fall release. Songtitles set to appear on the CD include "Pissed at What Ya Missed", "I Hate Yer Gutz", "Eyez Out Poppin'", "Luv Gone Bad" and "Rock N Roll Messiah".

ZAN CLAN debuted its brand new lineup January 21 at the "Rest In Sleaze" festival (tribute concert to late CRASHDIET frontman David Hellman) in Stockholm.

ZAN CLAN is:

Zinny J. Zan - Vocals
Chris Laney - Guitars and Vocals
J. Koleberg - Drums
Grizzly - Bass and Vocals
Rob Love - Guitars and Vocals

Grizzly, an experienced and sought-after session musician, is a longtime friend of the band. Rob is and unknown name in the music business. Only 20 years old, he's a bit younger than the rest of the band. However, Zinny Zan has always been known for only playing with guitar heroes, and this is certainly not about to change now. Laney says: "Rob is one of the best guitarists I have ever heard — and I have heard quite a few... rest assured that he is destined to become a guitar god. So brace yourselves for the rock 'n' roll messiahs!!"
