As previously reported, Ozzy Osbourne, Lemmy (MOTÖRHEAD), Jerry Cantrell (ALICE IN CHAINS), Rob Zombie and Carmine Appice were among the rock celebrities who were present on January 17, when OZZY OSBOURNE and BLACK LABEL SOCIETY guitarist Zakk Wylde was inducted into Hollywood's RockWalk. The event, which was free and open to the public, took place at noon Pacific Time at 7425 Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood, California.

Wylde, who hails from New Jersey, made his debut on Osbourne's 1988 album, "No Rest For The Wicked", according to Launch. He has played on every Osbourne solo effort since, including "No More Tears" and "Ozzmosis".

He formed his own band, BLACK LABEL SOCIETY, in 1998. The group has released six albums.

The RockWalk is described as "the only sidewalk gallery dedicated to honoring those artists who have made a significant impact and lasting contribution to the growth and evolution rock 'n' roll, blues and R&B." Previous inductees include JIMI HENDRIX, ERIC CLAPTON, JOHNNY CASH, AEROSMITH, IRON MAIDEN, VAN HALEN, JAMES BROWN, THE RAMONES and many more.
