ZAKK WYLDE Explains How His WYLDE AUDIO Guitars Are Made In Humorous New Video

January 26, 2017

Where do Wylde Audio guitars come from? In the two-and-a-half-minute clip below, Zakk Wylde talks us through the birds and the bees of the guitar build process.

Introduced earlier this month, the Wylde Audio Odin Grail Genesis Bullseye, Zakk's own reincarnation of his Ozzy Osbourne-era classic, features a maple cap over a bound Mahogany body, 24.75" scale 3pc maple neck topped with an ebony fretboard. The neck is outfitted with 6100-sized frets and oversized Mother-of-Peal block inlays. As with all of Zakk's guitars, the Grail is powered by an EMG Active 81/85 combo. A TonePros Tune-o-matic system adds rock-solid sustain and intonation. Grover Rotomatic machine heads and a GraphTech Tusq nut add to this fiddle’s upscale features.

Zakk's signature "Bulls Eye" graphic tops the aged White "Genesis" gloss finish making this new one the Holy Grail of Wylde Audio guitars! This fiddle o' doom is also available Lefty!

Wylde announced his own line of guitars back at NAMM 2015. He introduced custom guitars, amplifiers, as well as foot pedals, all of which he had a hand in designing. He also said he hoped to one day help other artists create their own signature gear.
