YNGWIE MALMSTEEN's Burrn! 2001 Readers' Poll Results, Upcoming Clinic Details

Swedish axe hero YNGWIE MALMSTEEN has been voted Best Guitar Player in the Japanese magazine Burrn!'s 2001 Readers' Poll. The guitarist also placed fourth in the category Most Pleasurable Event (for his performance with the New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra),fifth in Best Live Performance, sixth in Best Songwriter, seventh in Shining Star, 13th in Best Group, and 20th in the Best Bass Player categories. In other news, YNGWIE will be doing a performance/workshop on June 26th between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM (Eastern Standard Time) at the National Guitar Summer Workshop at New College in Sarasota, Florida.
