YAKUZA: New Live Dates Announced

Chicago's forward-thinking experimetallers YAKUZA have announced the following dates:

Oct. 18 - The Saint - Asbury Park, NJ (11:45 p.m.)

YAKUZA recently recorded a version of PINK FLOYD's "Lucifer Sam" with producer Sanford Parker (MINSK, PELICAN) for an upcoming Syd Barrett tribute record, to be released by Dwell Records.

UK-based label Eyes Of Sound will release YAKUZA's "Samsara" LP as the first in a limited gatefold vinyl series. Originally issued in 2006 via Prostheitc Records, this limited edition of 500 gatefold LPs also features an exclusive remix of "Back To The Mountain" by the infamous James Plotkin (KHANATE, OLD, SCORN, SUNN O))), EARTH) and comes on a luxurious double 180g colored vinyl. The album features guest appearances by pianist Jim Baker, cellist Fred Lonberg-Holm, Sanford Parker, and MASTODON's Troy Sanders. The "Samsara" vinyl will be released October 20 worldwide.
