Y&T Cancel San Diego Show

September 8, 2002

The reformed Y&T have cancelled their previously-announced show at Brick By Brick in San Diego, California on November 10th due to concerns over the venue's sound system. Commented mainman Dave Meniketti: "We received an email the other day from a fan about the venue Brick By Brick in San Diego. He mentioned how he had recently gone there to see PAT TRAVERS & how bad the club & sound system was. We looked into it further & decided that it was not the kind of venue Y&T wanted to play. Thanks to Ken Fawkes for giving us the heads-up on that venue, since we had no idea about it when it was booked by our new agency. So if you are in the San Diego area, now's the time to buy your tix for the Galaxy Theater [in Anaheim, California on November 8th], since it's the closest to your area. Sorry about that. Hopefully one of the good San Diego clubs will get off their asses & book MENIKETTI or Y&T there next time around."
