WYKKED WYTCH Parts Ways With SIXSIXSIX RECORDS, Seeks New Label Home

April 23, 2007

Florida's WYKKED WYTCH has issued the following update:

"Here is an update on the current status of the release of our new album 'Memories of a Dying Whore'. The album was completed in December and we are currently seeking a new label to release the album. After parting ways with our label SixSixSix Records, we had a couple of deals that didn't happen and this has caused the delay in the release. We plan on touring heavily in the U.S. and Europe once the album is released so stay tuned!"

"Memories of a Dying Whore" was recorded at Redroom Recorders in Tampa with engineer Mark Prator and was mixed by Gus Rios (MALEVOLENT CREATION, KULT OV AZAZEL) at Mercury Studios Inc. in Pompano Beach, FL. Mastering duties were handled by Jim Morris (DEATH, CANNIBAL CORPSE) at Morrisound Studios in Tampa. The CD will include a cover version of THE EURYTHMICS classic "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)", which can currently be heard on WYKKED WYTCH's MySpace page.

WYKKED WYTCH last year posted the uncensored video for the track "Awakened" at YouTube.com. The audio in the track is from a pre-production demo. A new edit of the video, including fresh audio, will be included as a multimedia file on the upcoming album.
