WOLF To Play Malaysia In May

March 22, 2010

Swedish metallers WOLF will co-headline the Kuala Lumpur Rock Festival in Malaysia on May 29. The festival will be held May 28-30 at the Merdeka Stadium.

Says the band, "We are very excited and proud to bring the WOLF metal machine to our fans in Malaysia. See you front row!"

WOLF has commenced the songwriting process for its next album. In addition, the band filmed footage at its February 27 concert in Gothenburg, Sweden for an upcoming video. The clip is being helmed by Morningstar Films.

WOLF will embark on a mini-tour of its home country in April. The band states, "We couldn't afford a seven dates of hell tour, so we'll settle for three."

The details are as follows:

April 01 - Harry B James - Stockholm, Sweden
April 02 - Club Monster - Gävle, Sweden
April 03 - Tranan - Bollnäs, Sweden

WOLF's latest album, "Ravenous", was released in North America on March 24, 2009 via Century Media Records. The CD features a guest guitar solo by Hank Shermann (FORCE OF EVIL, MERCYFUL FATE) and guest vocals by Mark Boals (YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, ROYAL HUNT). For the fierce and bloody artwork, the band once again decided to work with its longtime cover artist Thomas Holm (MERCYFUL FATE). Topped off by the phenomenal production by Roy Z (BRUCE DICKINSON, JUDAS PRIEST),"Ravenous" promises "a heavy metal delicacy par excellence!"
