WJCU's 'Metal On Metal' To Feature 13-hour RONNIE JAMES DIO Tribute

May 21, 2010

WJCU's "Metal On Metal" radio program, hosted by Bill Peters and now in its 28th year, will present a special 13-hour tribute to vocalist Ronnie James Dio on Friday May 21.

The program will feature unreleased, complete live concert recordings from ELF, BLACK SABBATH, DIO and HEAVEN & HELL, rare demos, album and single rarities, listener favorites and more.

"Ronnie James Dio is one of my all-time favorite vocalists," says Peters.

"With a musical career spanning six decades, even a 13-hour program will not come close to doing him justice.

"I will be emptying out my extensive personal archives for this tribute to celebrate a night of Ronnie's music with my listeners."

Listen live from 7:00 p.m. (Friday night) to 8:00 a.m. EST (Saturday morning) at www.wjcu.org or 88.7 FM in the Cleveland, Ohio area.
