WITHIN TEMPTATION's 'Mother Earth' Certified Platinum In Germany

WITHIN TEMPTATION's "Mother Earth" album, which was originally released in 2000 and then re-issued in 2002 to rave reviews, was certified platinum in Germany for sales in excess of 200,000 copies. Meawhile, the band's latest single, "Memories", entered the German single chart at position No. 17.

"Memories" is the second single off the group's new album, "The Silent Force", available now on BMG.

The follow-up to "Mother Earth", "The Silent Force" was mixed at Toytown Studios in Sweden and was produced by Daniel Gibson, who co-wrote four songs with the band, including the album's first single, "Stand My Ground"
