WIDE OPEN THROTTLE To Release Debut Album Next Month

Houston, Texas-based metal band WIDE OPEN THROTTLE will be releasing their debut album, "Life Trials", on May 13 with a headline show at Houston's Forgetta Bout it rock club. The self-produced CD was recorded and mastered by Greg Gill of Spyder Studios and features 12 original hard rock tracks that reflect the band's classic melodic metal roots. Known for being a strong an energetic live band (opening for various national touring acts such as ADLER'S APPETITE and BROKEN TEETH) , the group's next live appearance will take place on Friday, April 27 Forgetta Bout as the opening act for F5, the new band featuring former MEGADETH bassist David Ellefson.

WIDE OPEN THROTTLE features Jason Rhoads (guitars),Randy Broadway (guitars),Ryan McKnight (vocals),Glen Mayhew (bass),and Dave Thomas (drums).
