Who Killed DUFF MCKAGAN's Webmaster?

June 26, 2004

"America's Most Wanted" reports: Lori Lepper followed her rock-and-roll dreams to Los Angeles, where her friends included Duff McKagan, the former bass player for GUNS N' ROSES. Lori was building the official web site for Duff's new band, VELVET REVOLVER. But two days before Thanksgiving, 2002, someone stabbed her to death in her apartment. Police have no suspects, and very few clues in the brutal murder.

There was no sign of a forced entry to Lori's apartment, leading investigators to believe that she might have known her attacker and let him in. Police found fingerprints on a water glass in Lori's apartment that might belong to the killer, but they haven't been able to find a match for them.

Det. Parshall: "It appeared she probably had someone over that she knew. There were two drinking glasses that appeared at one point to be on each arm of a couch." Read more.
