WHITESNAKE: Second Batch Of Remastered Albums Pushed Back

August 15, 2006

According to Deep-Purple.net, the second batch of remastered WHITESNAKE albums that were scheduled for around July 2006 have been pushed back to Christmas time. Three more titles are being re-released: "Come An' Get It" from 1981, featuring Jon Lord and Ian Paice; "Live In The Heart Of The City", which comprises material from two London shows in 1978 and 1980 (the former was before Paice joined); and the "Saints An' Sinners" album, recorded in 1982, and the final album to include Bernie Marsden and Ian Paice. As before all three have bonus tracks (to be announced). This also means that the two live shows will not now be issued in full-on separate releases, as most fans wanted. These are the last of the half dozen titles planned.
