April 29, 2008

WHITESNAKE's new album, "Good To Be Bad", has entered the Norwegian national chart at position No. 5 the band's highest-ever chart entry in Norway. As previously reported, the CD also landed on the UK album chart at No. 7. The album was released through SPV/Steamhammer in Germany on April 18, the rest of Europe on April 21 and it came out in North America on April 22. In addition to the regular jewel-case version, a limited-edition two-disc set contains an extra CD in a cardboard sleeve, as well as a poster, photocard and sticker.

WHITESNAKE mainman David Coverdale was recently interviewed on "Live at Five with Ken Dashow" on New York's Q104.3 FM. Coverdale spoke about a number of topics, including the band's new album, "Good To Be Bad", and the LED ZEPPELIN reunion.
