WHIPLASH Pulls Out Of Germany's KEEP IT TRUE XIII Festival

Reactivated New Jersey thrashers WHIPLASH have been forced to cancel their appearance at this year's Keep It True XIII festival, set to take place April 23-24, 2010 at Tauberfrankenhalle in Lauda-Königshofen, Germany. According to the festival organizers, "the lawyer of one bandmember cancelled all future live shows of WHIPLASH because his client is going through a tough divorce. Unfortunately, the flights were already booked and so we are right now trying to get back our already paid money from the band. Also because of that and the fact that it is simply impossible to book an equal band three weeks before the festival we have decided to let some bands play longer sets."

Swedish doom metal legends CANDLEMASS will celebrate their 25th anniversary at the event by performing a very special two-hour show consisting of the entire "Epicus Doomicus Metallicus" debut album with original singer Johan Langquist on vocals and a regular set featuring current frontman Robert Lowe.
