WHILE SHE SLEEPS Frontman To Miss European Shows For 'Personal Reasons'

July 1, 2019

WHILE SHE SLEEPS frontman Lawrence "Loz" Taylor will miss the last few shows of the band's current European tour for "personal reasons."

The British metalcore act announced Taylor's absence in an Instagram post earlier today.

The group wrote: "Due to personal reasons, unfortunately Loz will not be performing at the final few shows in Europe.

"We don't believe in canceling & we don't believe in letting these kind of things stop us.

"After tomorrow we will have a fill in vocalist for the last few shows.

"We need your voice. Let's make this happen. It takes more than a member down to stop a SLEEPS show.

"We are incredibly sorry but we will not let you down.

"Thank you for understanding & respecting our privacy in times like these."

WHILE SHE SLEEPS's latest album, "So What?", was released in March via the band's own Sleeps Brothers label through Spinefarm. The disc was recorded with producer Carl Bown at the group's studio Sleeps Audio.

WHILE SHE SLEEPS's 2007 album, "You Are We", earned the group award nominations from the likes of Metal Hammer and a "Best Album" win at the Heavy Music Awards, as well as landing them in the Top 10 of the U.K. album charts.
