WESTFIELD MASSACRE Featuring MORBID ANGEL, Ex-DIVINE HERESY Members: New Song 'Respect Resistance'

January 13, 2015

"Respect Resistance", a brand new song from WESTFIELD MASSACRE, the new band featuring former DIVINE HERESY members Tommy Vext and Tim Yeung alongside guitarists Bill Hudson and Rick Di Marco, can be streamed below. Former IN THIS MOMENT and SCAR THE MARTYR bassist Kyle Konkiel helped out during the pre-production process for WESTFIELD MASSACRE's debut album but is not a member of the band.

Regarding how WESTFIELD MASSACRE came up with its name, Vext told Metal Injection: "The WESTFIELD MASSACRE is a name I had come up with for a graphic novel idea. Coincidentally it turned out to also be the name of an episode of 'American Horror Story'. In their episode, Westfield High is the stage for a school shooting."

WESTFIELD MASSACRE is:

* Tommy Vext (VEXT, DIVINE HERESY, SNOT) - Vocals
* Bill Hudson (CIRCLE II CIRCLE, JON OLIVA'S PAIN) - Guitar
* Rick Di Marco (DEATH DIVISION) - Guitar
* Tim Yeung (MORBID ANGEL, DIVINE HERESY, HATE ETERNAL) – Drums

Due to his involvement with WESTFIELD MASSACRE, Vext stepped down from the reunited SNOT and is not taking part in that band's "Get Some" tour. He has since been replaced by Carl Bensley (VITIATE, CONSUME THE FIRE).
