WAYSTED: New U.K. Date Announced

February 23, 2005

WAYSTED, the reunited semi-obscure mid-'80s British heavy metal outfit led by UFO bassist Pete Way (hence the spelling of the group's name),have issued the following update via their official web site:

"After the enthusiastic welcome to their opening set at the Mean Fiddler WAYSTED are champing at the bit to get out on the road again. So... if you missed their London date, or if you want the same again only more so, the boys will be having a party-in-the-pub at the Queen Vic (formerly known as Zaks) in Milton Keynes on Saturday 5th March where they will play a full set including all the classic WAYSTED songs such as 'Toy With The Passion', 'Love Loaded', 'Night Of The Wolf' etc. and songs from their latest album 'Back From The Dead'. So... come along and join Pete, Fin, Chris and Paul for a right old rock 'n' roll knees-up and spend 'an evening getting WAYSTED.

"Numbers are limited, so please either ring the venue on 01908 315447 or email [email protected] to be sure of getting a ticket."

WAYSTED recently released their comeback CD, "Back from the Dead", via Majestic Rock Records.
