WAYSTED Confirmed For UK's Z ROCK 08 Festival

WAYSTED, featuring bassist Pete Way of UFO fame, has been confirmed for Z Rock 08, set to take place April 20, 2008 at Maximes, Wigan, England. The festival billing is shaping up as follows:

Z Rock 08 tickets are currently on sale here at a special early bird discounted rate of £40 (plus recorded delivery) until November 11. Tickets will go on general sale at various outlets on November 12 priced at £45 each (booking fee may apply).

WAYSTED released its new album, "The Harsh Reality", on October 29 via U.K.'s Livewire Records. The CD featured the band's "classic" lineup of Pete Way, Fin (vocals), Chris George (guitar) and Paul Haslin (drums).

WAYSTED recently recorded a cover version of AEROSMITH's "Sweet Emotion" for inclusion on the cover-mount CD (featuring a compilation of rock songs from the movies) that was given away for free with Classic Rock magazine.

WAYSTED's latest CD, "Back from the Dead", was issued in 2005 via Majestic Rock Records.
