Watch CATTLE DECAPITATION's 'The Prophets Of Loss' Video

October 26, 2017

"The Prophets Of Loss", the new video from San Diego-based deathgrind masters CATTLE DECAPITATION, can be seen below. The clip was filmed during the band's summer 2017 European tour by director Paul McGuire of Obscenery Films, who captured behind-the-scenes and live footage.

CATTLE DECAPITATION is currently headlining the "North American Extinction Tour Part II: Inhuman Beings", with support from REVOCATION, FULL OF HELL and ARTIFICIAL BRAIN. The trek will run through November 20.

"The Prophets Of Loss" is taken from CATTLE DECAPITATION's most recent full-length album, "The Anthropocene Extinction", which came out in August 2015 via Metal Blade. The CD was once again helmed by Dave Otero (ALLEGAEON, CEPHALIC CARNAGE),who worked on 2012's "Monolith Of Inhumanity".

CATTLE DECAPITATION enlisted a surprising array of guests to help achieve their vision. The one and only legendary Philip H. Anselmo lent his throat to "The Prophets Of Loss" while signee to his Housecore Records label, fellow San Diegan and friend of the band, AUTHOR & PUNISHER, brought forth the industrial damnation as an intro to the track "Plagueborne". Additionally, Germany's dark metal misanthrope, Mr. Jurgen Bartsch of the almighty BETHLEHEM, lent a spoken-word piece in his native tongue to the apocalyptic final track "Pacific Grim".

The record also saw the band extending their collaboration with illustrator Wes Benscoter, who's handled the artwork for every CATTLE DECAPITATION release since 2002's "To Serve Man".
