WARRANT Guitarist Taking Break From Touring

September 9, 2005

Los Angeles hard rockers WARRANT have posted the following update on their official web site:

"Joey Allen [guitar] is taking an undertermined break from touring to pursue personal interests. He remains an integral part of the kick-ass guitar shredding on the new WARRANT CD, 'Born Again', which is completed and will be released in the spring. We hope to have our rock 'n' roll brother back on the road with the release of the new CD!!! Until then, our good friend Brent Woods, formerly of THE VINCE NEIL BAND will be filling in on lead guitar. Stay tuned for more info...as the rock world turns!"

As previously reported, "Born Again" was produced by Pat Regan (KISS, TED NUGENT, RITCHIE BLACKMORE) and features all original members — Allen, Jerry Dixon on bass, guitarist Erik Turner, and drummer Steven Sweet — along with vocalist Jaime St. James (of BLACK ‘N BLUE fame) who has been the singer since the departure of original vocalist Jani Lane in 2003.

Upcoming WARRANT shows:

Sep. 16 - Melbourne, FL @ County Line Saloon RockStar
Sep. 17 - Bainbridge, GA @ Bainbridge Bikefest Local Support
Sep. 18 - Chesapeake, VA @ Greenbrier Parkway – Festival Grounds - Chesapeake Cyclemania
Sep. 30 – Windsor, CA @ Souza's Bar & Grill
