WARGASM Guitarist Issues 'Reunion' DVD Update

September 22, 2005

Guitarist Rich Spillberg of Boston's thrash pioneers WARGASM has issued the following update on the band's activities:

"Bob [Mayo, bass/vocals] and Barry [Spillberg, drums] and I are really excited about your enthusiasm towards our upcoming DVD release. If you were of the fortunate few that were able to attend our reunion show last September (I know, it's been a year!!!),you know that this DVD is about a really special night. If you weren't there, don't worry, the DVD will bring you right up to the front of the stage (literally),and you will feel the vibe that the three of us and 600 friends created. It was truly amazing.

"So, I'm sure you're all wondering what is up with the DVD, right? Well here's the lowdown. We have been editing the reunion footage over the course of the last year with an extremely talented video editor named Bobby Callautti. It's a very time-consuming process, indeed. We haven't stopped there, though. Also during the last twelve months we have been accumulating hours and hours of footage dating back to the earliest days of GASM, and we are now in the process of piecing together a historical look at the band, from the first show ever, up until the reunion
last year. So the DVD will consist of the entire reunion show, a documentary of the history of the band, and then a bunch of cool extras. It'll be a real nice package, friends!!

"So just hang tight, because it will take us into the early part of next year before it's done, but it will be jam-packed with a ton of GASM for you, and since there is no record label involved (yet),it'll be selling at a cheap price — all making it much more worth the wait!!"
