WARBEAST Begins Recording Debut Album

April 15, 2009

WARBEAST (formerly TEXAS METAL ALLIANCE),the band featuring RIGOR MORTIS vocalist Bruce Corbitt, GAMMACIDE guitarists Rick Perry and Scott Shelby, GAMMACIDE/DEVILFIST bassist Alan Bovee and DEMONSEED drummer Joe Gonzalez, entered a New Orleans studio on April 10 to begin recording its debut album for a late 2009 release via Philip Anselmo's (DOWN, PANTERA) Housecore Records.

Commented the band: "Things are running smoothly in the studio and on schedule for us here in New Orleans. Joey's drums sound amazing and the guitar tones on the rhythm tracks are exactly how we wanted them. Alan is doing his bass parts right now and should be finished in a few hours. Then it will be time for Scott and Rick to record their guitar solos. So we will probably start recording the vocals tomorrow night. We are having a great time, be we are here to work and we are being serious."

Check out photos from the studio in the "Warbeast In The Studio" folder on the band's MySpace page.

OutlawVideoTV has posted a new interview with the members of WARBEAST regarding the name change and the group's future plans. Watch the 10-minute chat below.
