WALLS OF JERICHO Announce Release Date For 'With Devils Amongst Us All'

June 27, 2006

WALLS OF JERICHO have set an August 22 release date for their upcoming full-length album, "With Devils Amongst Us All". The band will be building the hype and playing new material through their appearance on the Ozzfest second stage this summer. Leading up to those dates the band has a Canadian tour with UNEARTH, ALL THAT REMAINS, THE RED CHORD and A LIFE ONCE LOST.

WALLS OF JERICHO, who deliver a fierce onslaught of metallic venom in their guitars while retaining the grit of hardcore/punk, will be the only female-fronted band on Ozzfest's second stage this year.

Regarding the upcoming album, guitarist Mike Hasty said, "[It is] the most varied music we've ever written. It's a lot more anthemic whereas our older material was more about aggression than composition."

WALLS OF JERICHO have just filmed a video for the song "A Trigger Full of Promises", which is also featured on the new "Headbanger's Ball: The Revenge" double album. Filmed by director Dale Restighini (TRIVIUM, HATEBREED, FALL OUT BOY),the clip is consistent with the band's dark sound, filmed in discarded prison cells located deep in the rural countryside of Pennsylvania. "We wanted the video to be full of dark undertones, to match the lyrical theme of the song," said drummer Dustin Schoenhofer, who actually scripted the video.
