W.A.S.P.: BLACKIE LAWLESS Taken Ill, Band Cancel Finnish Gig

W.A.S.P. have cancelled tonight's show (May 23) in Finland after mainman Blackie Lawless was taken ill. The group's previously announced gig at Helsinki's Tavastia was called off because Blackie came down with some type of "allergic reaction," according to a statement released by the Tavastia club. It is not presently clear if any additional dates on the band's ongoing European tour will be cancelled.

In other news, Norway's Metal Express has posted an interview with Blackie conducted earlier this month. Listen to the 14-minute interrogation at this location.
