VOIVOD: Three Days Away From Completing 'The Multiverse'

VOIVOD — vocalist Snake (a.k.a. Denis Belanger), guitarist Piggy (a.k.a. Denis D'Amour), drummer Away (a.k.a. Michel Langevin), and Jasonic (a.k.a. ex-METALLICA bassist Jason Newsted) — are three days away from having completed the mixing process for the group's new album, "The Multiverse", at Sausalito, California's The Plant studios.

The band, who recently withdrew from a North American trek featuring NILE, NAPALM DEATH, STRAPPING YOUNG LAD, and THE BERZERKER in order to focus on completing the new CD, have reportedly scheduled a Dec. 19 mastering date in New York City for the album, which is set to surface on Mar. 4, 2003 through Newsted's own Chophouse label (in association with Surfdog Records). Meanwhile, you can check out the latest video clip documenting the mixing sessions for the group's forthcoming CD at this location.
