Voice Of TED NUGENT Group Added To 11th Annual BOLIN MUSIC FEST

Derek St. Holmes will join VANILLA FUDGE and former DEEP PURPLE singer/bassist Glenn Hughes as part of the 11th annual BolinFest celebrating the memory of late DEEP PURPLE guitarist Tommy Bolin. The event takes place July 30-31 at the Surf Ballroom at 460 North Shore Drive, Clear Lake, Iowa 50428.

Derek St. Holmes is best known as the voice of the TED NUGENT group, having sung "Hey Baby", "Stranglehold" and appeared on a string of million-selling albums including "Cat Scratch Fever". Furthermore, he was one half of WHITFORD/HOLMES with AEROSMITH guitarist Brad Whitford.

Derek will be playing NUGENT classics, as well as his own solo material with more possible special guests.

The LIZARDS have had to withdraw from performing at the event due to the illness of one of the LIZARDS' band members.

The schedule: Friday night, July 30: The reunited TESLA with special guest Glenn Hughes.

Saturday night, July 31: JOHNNIE BOLIN AND FRIENDS, Billy Lee Janey, VANILLA FUDGE, Derek St. Holmes and DEEP PURPLE's Glenn Hughes.
