VISIONS OF ATLANTIS Taps CHAOSWAVE Drummer For European Tour

January 26, 2011

Drummer Raphael Saini of Italian metallers CHAOSWAVE will fill in for VISIONS OF ATLANTIS' Thomas Caser during the latter band's upcoming European tour as the support act for RHAPSODY OF FIRE. Raphael says, "I am really excited about this tour with VISIONS OF ATLANTIS. I can't wait to be on the road again!

"VISIONS OF ATLANTIS' music is really different from all the stuff I have been playing in the past, making the challenge even more fun. Thomas Caser's drumming is really interesting and I love to challenge myself and prove that I can fill in a lot of different musical situations."

VISIONS OF ATLANTIS' tour with RHAPSODY OF FIRE is scheduled to kick off on February 8 in Pratteln, Switzerland.

VISIONS OF ATLANTIS will release its fourth album, "Delta", via Napalm Records on the following dates:

Germany, Austria, Switzerland, BeNeLux, Italy: February 25
Spain, Finland, Sweden: February 23
Rest Of Europe: February 28
USA, Canada: March 15

The CD was recorded Dreamscape Studios in Munich, Germany and marks the debut of the band's new singer, Maxi Nil, who joined the group in 2009.

An audio sample of the new VISIONS OF ATLANTIS song "New Dawn" can be streamed using the player below.

VISIONS OF ATLANTIS last year parted ways with bassist and founding member Mike Koren and replaced him with Mario Lochert (EMERGENCY GATE).
