VINCE NEIL Says He Doesn't Want To Do MÖTLEY CRÜE Reunion Tour, Comments On Brothel Incident

September 12, 2003

MÖTLEY CRÜE frontman Vince Neil has dismissed rumors of an impending reunion tour with his old bandmates, telling the Edmonton Sun in a brand-new interview that "I have no relationship with those guys. Nikki [Sixx]'s trying to get everyone back together. Tommy [Lee]'s already agreed to do it, Mick [Mars]'s already agreed to do it. I really don't want to do it.

"I'm having too much fun doing [my own thing]. There's no brain damage, it's fun, you just go out and play.

"Basically nobody likes each other in MÖTLEY CRÜE, so why would I put myself in that kind of position when I'm perfectly happy doing what I'm doing now?"

Neil also commented on the a charge of misdemeanor battery laid against him after a sex worker at the Moonlite Bunny Ranch brothel near Carson City alleged the rocker grabbed her by the throat and pushed her against a wall during a July 10 post-concert visit.

"Absolutely nothing happened," Neil said. "It's called a wacky broad just wanting money."

"The girl was never touched by anybody, it's just all a bunch of bull," maintained Neil. "That's what happens. People know you got money, and they figure you'll just pay them off not to go through something like this. But I'm not really going through anything.

"The funny thing is, this isn't really bad press — it's just press." Read more.
