VINCE NEIL's Son To Perform With MÖTLEY CRÜE Tribute Band At CRÜEFEST 2005

A MÖTLEY CRÜE tribute band fronted by Neil Wharton (MySpace.com profile),son of CRÜE singer Vince Neil, is among the scheduled performers at the fifth annual Crüefest, set to be held July 30 at Whisky A Go-Go in Hollywood, California. Also scheduled to perform at the event are THE SERVANTS (featuring former MACHINE HEAD/TESTAMENT drummer Chris Kontos),TRASH LIGHT VISION (featuring MURDERDOLLS guitarist Acey Slade),THE EROTICS, THE PEPPERMINT CREEPS, and SABRINA KORVA.

Crüefest is an annual event established by the fans of the rock band MÖTLEY CRÜE. Proceeds from this event go to the Skylar Neil Memorial fund for cancer research. Skylar Neil is the daughter of Vince Neil who died of cancer at the age of four.

MÖTLEY CRÜE slammed on to the music scene in 1981 and have since sold over 40 million records world wide. The CRÜE is best known for their hits songs "Girls, Girls, Girls", "Dr. Feelgood" and "Home Sweet Home".

Crüefest sponsors this year include Jägermeister, the Rainbow Bar and Grill, Samick Guitars, the Whisky A Go-Go, Monsters Of Rock Radio network and Switch Music.

Giveaways/raffle-auction items include shirts, stickers, a Samick guitar, Jägermeister gear, and much, much more.
