PAINFACE, the band featuring SLIPKNOT's original singer, Anders Colsefni, opened for STONE SOUR, which features SLIPKNOT's current frontman Corey Taylor, this past Monday, October 29 at Wooly's in Des Moines, Iowa.
Fan-filmed video footage of PAINFACE's performance can be seen below.
Colsefni, one of the founding members of SLIPKNOT alongside percussionist Shawn "The Clown" Crahan, contributed lead vocals to the band's 1997's independently released effort "Mate Feed Kill Repeat". A short time after leaving the band in 1997, Anders went on to form PAINFACE, which later evolved into ON A PALE HORSE.
As previously reported, Colsefni makes a guest appearance on the new three-song EP from the Des Moines, Iowa-based band GREEN DEATH. Entitled "Dawn Of The Death", the effort was made available on October 30 via CDBaby, Amazon and iTunes as a digital-only release.
"Dawn Of The Death" was recorded with engineer Griffin Landa (formerly of the band TOO PURE TO DIE) at his studio The Establishment Recording Studio in Des Moines.
