VICIOUS RUMORS Guitarist Cancels KALEDON Guest Appearance Due To 'Serious Health Problems'

VICIOUS RUMORS guitarist Geoff Thorpe was forced to cancel his previously announced guest appearance on tnew KALEDON CD, third CD, "The Way of the Light". According to a posting on the KALEDON web site, "Geoff Thorpe will not appear in the next KALEDON's album for serious health problems! VICIOUS RUMORS' guitarist was at work for three KALEDON's guitar solos but this collaboration will not be possible for his situation. His doctors have advised him against taking on any work... KALEDON received this news today from Sol Music agency. We hope that Geoff can return very soon for his fans and for his VICIOUS RUMORS. Good luck, Geoff."

As previously reported, KALEDON will be entering Giuseppe Orlando's The Outer Sound Studios on October 25 to resume work on "The Way of the Light", tentatively due in January through SteelBorn Records. The drum tracks for the CD were laid down in July at Alpha & Omega studios in Como, Italy by STRATOVARIUS' Jörg Michael (the band have since been rejoined by drummer David Folchitto).
