VESANIA Announce New Guitarist

August 12, 2005

Polish black metal masters VESANIA, featuring Orion (BEHEMOTH) and Daray (VADER),have posted the following message on their official web site:

"After a month of everyday work, we've finally finished the rehearsals with new guitarist. Now we can easily and surely inform you all, that the new musician is Valeo, known from the bands SAMMATH NAUR and MORTIS DEI. He'll be with us on upcoming tours, which we start in January 2006. Working with him, preparing the material for live performances, was really smooth. We can now say, that he's a skilled musician and a person, with which we're having good relation. There's a few months break in rehearsals coming at the moment, but in December we're meeting again, to arrange the very last details before the tours."

VESANIA released their sophomore album, "God the Lux", on July 25 via Napalm Records. The follow-up to 2003's "Firefrost Arcanum" was recorded between September 2004 and January 2005. Drums, guitars and vocals were laid down at Hendrix studio in Lublin with engineer Arkadiusz "Malta" Malczewski, while the bass tracks were recorded at Kokszoman studio in Warsaw with engineer Marecki. The keyboards were tracked at Siegmar's home studio.

"God the Lux" was mixed and mastered in February 2005 at Hertz studio in Bialystok, Poland by Slawek and Wojtek Wieslawski and VESANIA.
