VENGEFUL To Enter Studio In November

Montreal, Quebec, Canada-based band VENGEFUL will enter the studio on November 15 with producer Chris Donaldson (CRYPTOPSY, THE LAST FELONY, NEURAXIS) to begin recording its third album for an early 2011 release. Songtitles set to appear on the CD include "Delusional", "Malice", "Decay" and "Distant Exit". Vocalist Marc-André Grenier states, "If everything goes according to plan (that rarely happens),we intend to be done with the album in March and then we start looking for a label to help distribute it as soon as possible."

VENGEFUL will play its final show of 2010 on Novemebr 13 at Il Motore in Montreal with SALVATION and TOWARDS DARKNESS.

VENGEFUL earlier in the year announced the addition of bassist Dominic "Forest" Lapointe (ATHERETIC, BARF, QUO VADIS, AUGURY) to the group's ranks.

VENGEFUL's second full-length album, "The Omnipresent Curse", was released in August 2009. The cover artwork was once again painted by Martin Lacroix (AUGURY, HUMANOID).

VENGEFUL's debut album, "Karma", was released in 2007 via Disconcert Music.

According to a press release, VENGEFUL "plays death metal that is fuelled by pure hatred and deep anger, accompanied by a firm sense of song structure and dynamic. . . Their music shows influences from pioneers such as GORGUTS, IMMOLATION, NILE and CRYPTOPSY."
