VELVET REVOLVER members Slash and Scott Weiland, along with Jerry Cantrell (ALICE IN CHAINS),David Draiman (DISTURBED) and Billy Duffy (THE CULT),were among the special guests during CAMP FREDDY performance at the X Games party on Friday, August 5 at the House of Blues in West Hollywood, California. CAMP FREDDY is the Los Angeles-based "jam" band consisting of ex-JANE'S ADDICTION/RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS guitarist Dave Navarro, former THE CULT touring bassist Billy Morrison (on guitar),ex-JANE'S ADDICTION drummer Stephen Perkins (replacing injured VELVET REVOLVER drummer Matt Sorum),and vocalist Donovan Leitch (the son of 1960s U.K. folk-rock icon Donovan).
