VAN CANTO: Audio Samples Of Entire 'Hero' Album Available

Audio samples of all 10 tracks that will appear on "Hero", the new album from the German "a cappella metal" band VAN CANTO are available for streaming at Metal-Hammer.de. Due on September 26 through GUN Records, the CD will feature 10 songs, including originals like "Speed Of Light" (see video below) as well as covers of several metal classics, including songs by IRON MAIDEN, NIGHTWISH and MANOWAR. The album will also include a bonus DVD.

VAN CANTO will play an exclusive Amazon showcase at the Metropolis Club in Munich, Germany on October, 9 2008. The concert will be part of the Amazon newcomer shows and the free tickets can only be obtained through www.amazon.de/newcomer.

VAN CANTO's debut album, "A Storm To Come", was released in 2006 through General Schallplatten and re-released last year through GUN Records. It features seven original tracks as well as cover versions of METALLICA's "Battery" and "Stora Rövardansen" from the movie "Ronja Rövardotter".
