VADER: Video Footage Of New Lineup Available

October 22, 2008

Fan-filmed video footage from VADER's current tour with GRAVE, ZONARIA and GILLA BRUJA can be viewed below.

Commented the group's frontman Piotr "Peter" Wiwczarek: "Veni, vidi, vici! VADER is alive and killzzz! After our yesterday show in Turku I'm pretty sure our war machinery works just as perfect as in the past. I would say that every single show we play in this new line up confirms in me a conviction that VADER didn't lose the power. Both Vogg and Pawel are doing simply a great job, it seems like they have been playing with VADER for years! The old songs sound even better and stronger, performed with deadly precision every night."

VADER's new touring lineup is as follows:

Piotr "Peter" Wiwczarek (guitar, vocals)
Reyash (bass)
Waclaw "Vogg" Kieltyka (DECAPITATED) (guitar)
Pawel Jaroszewicz (SOUL SNATCHER) (drums)

VADER's tour with GRAVE, ZONARIA and GILLA BRUJA kicked off on October 17 in Vilnius and will runs through November 1 in Aarhus. The "Winterfest 2009" tour with DEICIDE, SAMAEL, ZONARIA, DEVIAN and ARTISIAN starts on January 9 and wraps on January 22. In the meantime, the pre-production for VADER's next album is scheduled for December at Poland's Hertz Studio. The recording session is planned for February/March, while the mixing and mastering will take place in April/May. "We are going to entrust the production of this album to an extremely experienced and well-known producer," the band said. "We need a guy who would be able to give VADER a new splendor. After 25 years, the machine should be well-lubricated and polished hehe... Of course, good producers cost a lot of money and VADER is still an underground act, but we have some ideas... We're also looking for some new graphic designers, photographers and so on. The new album will be entitled 'Necropolis'. Hoping to get better support from our record label than we've received so far."
