USURPER To Tour Europe In The Fall

Chicago's USURPER has announced that it will be heading out to Europe once again for a two-week headlining tour. The trek, which will also include NOCTURNAL BREED (Norway), THE STONE (Serbia) and DECAYED (Portugal), will kick off October 25 in Hamburg, Germany and will run through November 10 in Berlin. Exact cities and dates will be announced soon.

USURPER is currently busy rehearsing material for its sixth full-length album, which the band plans to record later in the year. New songtitles include "Talons of Steel", "Rebel Wolf", "Planet of the Humans", "Zombie Revolution" and "Replicants of the Apocalypse".

USURPER last year parted ways with vocalist Dan Tyrantor due to "ongoing circumstances and issues" in his personal life. The remaining four members have announced plans to continue as a four-piece, with guitarist Rick Scythe and bassist Jon Necromancer taking over the vocal duties.

USURPER's fifth full-length album, "Cryptobeast", was released in 2005 via Earache Records. The follow-up to 2003's "Twilight Dominion" was recorded at Chicago's Rax Trax Studios with producer Neil Kernon (JUDAS PRIEST, DEICIDE, CANNIBAL CORPSE).
