USURPER Commence Pre-Production For EARACHE RECORDS Debut

Chicago death/thrash lords USURPER have commenced pre-production for their sixth, as-yet-untitled CD with producer Neil Kernon (i.e. CANNIBAL CORPSE, NEVERMORE) for a late 2002/early 2003 release through Earache Records. According to the label's official web site, as-yet-undisclosed members of MANOWAR will make guest appearances during the recordings.

USURPER's forthcoming CD will be the group's first under a three-album deal with Earache, which was signed late last year. The group were previously signed to Fremont, California's Necropolis Records, which issued the band's last four efforts: 1997's Threshold Of The Usurper, 1999's Skeletal Season, 2000's Visions From The Gods and Necronemesis.
