UNEARTH, AMON AMARTH To Guest On 'Chaos With Full Metal Jackie'

October 17, 2008

Massachusetts metallers UNEARTH and Swedish Vikings AMON AMARTH will be the featured guests on this Sunday's (October 19) edition of Indie 103.1 FM's specialty metal program "Chaos with Full Metal Jackie" at 10:00 p.m. PST (1:00 a.m. EST Monday morning). The show will also premier music from LORDI's new album, "Deadache", and DIR EN GREY's upcoming CD, "Urobos".

To listen to the program live via the Internet, go to this location. The program also airs on KNAC.COM Monday nights between 7 and 9 p.m. PST (and again on Sunday mornings between 7 and 9 a.m.).

"The March", the new album from UNEARTH, was released in North America on October 14 via Metal Blade Records. The limited European-exclusive edition of "The March" includes a bonus track called "Our Callous Skin" and an exclusive bonus DVD featuring behind-the-scenes footage from the making of the record, directed by Denise Korycki. This limited edition comes in a high-class digibook with special format. The limited LP will be released on coloured and 180g heavy vinyl in a gatefold sleeve and printed innerbag. It will include a unique download card to login on a dedicated page where fans can download the full album for free.

"The March" was recorded at Massachusetts' System Recording and Zing studios with producer Adam Dutkiewicz (KILLSWITCH ENGAGE) and is said feature UNEARTH's "most dynamic material to date," combining strong tension and release, abundant guitar solos and a bulldozing power-groove.

AMON AMARTH will take part in a special signing session at Decibel magazine headquarters (located at 1032 Arch Street, across from the Trocadero Theater) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Sunday, October 19 at 4:00 p.m.

AMON AMARTH was interviewed for this week's "The Metal File" podcast from Montreal's CHOM-FM. Download the show as an MP3 file at this location.

Capital Chaos has posted video footage (see below) of Massachusetts metallers UNEARTH performing the song "Black Hearts Reign" at The Boardwalk in Orangevale, California on October 12, 2008. Also on the bill were GWEN STACY, THE ACACIA STRAIN, WHITECHAPEL and PROTEST THE HERO.
