October 7, 2006

According to a posting on the web site of legendary guitarist Uli Jon Roth (ex-SCORPIONS),Uli's longtime record company, SPV, is going to release a "Best of Uli Jon Roth" compilation to coincide with Roth's upcoming European tour. The double CD will contain no less than 32 songs drawn from all of the official Uli Jon Roth releases since his departure from SCORPIONS. The album will give those listeners who are not yet familiar with Uli's music a chance to get acquainted with it. The booklet contains mainly previously unpublished photographs and comes with extensive liner notes. The choice of songs was made by Uli himself, who also remastered some of the material specially for this compilation. In addition, the CD contains two video bonus tracks. A November 6 European release is expected (November 3 in Germany).
