ULI JON ROTH: Band Lineup Announced For September Shows

August 22, 2005

Legendary guitarist Uli Jon Roth (ex-SCORPIONS) has announced the lineup for his upcoming shows in September. Roth's band will consist of the following:

Uli Jon Roth - Guitar
Olaf Senkbeil - Vocals
Oliver Palotai - Keyboards
Peter Pichl - Bass
Chris Lowe - Drums

Ex-SCORPIONS drummer Rudy Lenners will join Uli as a special guest during his set in Colmar, France on September 10. SCORPIONS will also appear on the bill.

As previously reported, Uli Jon Roth will join his former bandmates SCORPIONS for a couple of classic numbers at the Colmar show, dating from the period when Uli was still a member of the group. "This will be a somewhat historic and nostalgic occasion for a lot of fans from the past, who have never had the chance to see Uli with the SCORPIONS, because this is going to be their first joint appearance since the recording of 'Tokyo Tapes' in 1978," reads a posting on Uli's web site.
