UFO guitarist Vinnie Moore has posted the following message on his official web site:

"The new UFO album will be released at the end of September [September 26 in North America]. It's called 'The Monkey Puzzle' and will be out on SPV. We'll be doing a series of shows in July and August and then touring to promote the new album from October onwards. Also, I just finished recording solos on a song called 'Se A Cabo' for an upcoming SANTANA tribute record which is coming out on Tone Center Records. Other players include Dave Weckl on drums, Peter Wolf on keys, and Abe Laborial Jr. on bass. Guitarists on the album are.... Jeff Richman (who is also the producer),Pat Martino, Albert Lee, Mike Stern, Eric Johnson, Robben Ford, Eric Gales and Frank Gambale.

"The other news is that I now have an official MySpace page at www.myspace.com/vinniemoore."

The follow-up to 2004's "You Are Here", "The Monkey Puzzle" was recorded at Area 51 Studios with producer Tommy Newton, who also worked with the band on their last CD and who recorded the material for the band's "Showtime" live album.
