TYPE O NEGATIVE Keyboardist To Sit Out Tour; Temporary Replacement Announced

TYPE O NEGATIVE has issued the following update:

"For the last several months, Josh Silver [keyboards] has been in school working towards certification as a paramedic. He is in the heart of the program and will be unable to tour with the band on the upcoming dates.

"Rest assured, Josh remains a member of TYPE O NEGATIVE and will continue working with the band going forward. With that said, we would like to announce that stepping in on keyboards for the dates will be Scott Warren from HEAVEN & HELL/DIO."

Support on the trek will come from SEVENTH VOID, the new band featuring TYPE O NEGATIVE guitarist Kenny Hickey and drummer Johnny Kelly.

The three LP/DVD limited fan edition box set version of TYPE O NEGATIVE's latest album, "Dead Again", was released last year via Amazon.com. The package included "Dead Again" on high-quality 180-gram vinyl plus a bonus DVD, along with an exclusive t-shirt and mp3 files of the album.

TYPE O NEGATIVE in February 2008 released another special edition of its acclaimed new album, "Dead Again". The deluxe CD version contained a bonus DVD with exclusive live performances, interviews and studio videos. The discs were repackaged in a special red cover.
