TYGERS OF PAN TANG To Tour UK With STEVE GRIMMETT

NWOBHM legends TYGERS OF PAN TANG have issued the following update:

"Although we are awaiting some more confirmed dates, we wanted to let you all know as soon as possible about the upcoming UK tour. This will be a three-band bill with the TYGERS OF PAN TANG as headliners and the fantastic Steve Grimmett of GRIM REAPER as special guest. The main tour support will be CRIMES OF PASSION, who are one of the best new UK rock bands around so it promises to be a great night of music. Tickets will be very reasonably priced at all venues as we wanted to make this tour great value for money especially due to the economic climate in the UK at the moment.

"We hope to see you all on this tour so we could thank you for your support of the TYGERS during 2008. The sales of [the band's new album] 'Animal Instinct' have passed our own expectations and with the help of Geoff Barton's [Classic Rock magazine] quote and 8/10 review in Classic Rock magazine we have a lot of older fans returning. Please spread the word and bring along your friends, and be part of the TYGERS 2008."

"Animal Instinct" was released in Italy, Germany and Scandinavia on June 9, and was made available and in Japan in mid-July via Marquee/Avalon. The CD is also available in the UK and via the band's official web site.

According to a press release, "Animal Instinct", sees the band "go back to their early roots, playing hard-edged rock in the manner of 'Wildcat' and 'Spellbound'."

TYGERS OF PAN TANG's current lineup is:

Robb Weir - Guitar
Dean Robertson - Guitar
Jacopo Meille - Vocals
Brian West - Bass
Craig Ellis - Drums
