TYGERS OF PAN TANG: Italian Dates Announced

NWOBHM legends TYGERS OF PAN TANG will play four shows in Italy in January 2009. The details are as follows:

Jan. 09 - Stonehenge - Verona, Italy
Jan. 10 - Sottotetto Sound Club - Bologna, Italy
Jan. 11 - MotoRock - Como, Italy
Jan. 12 - Viper Theatre - Firenze, Italy

Special guests for the tour will be PLANET HARD for Verona, Bologna and Como and BRONX RAID/TARON for Firenze.

Commented TYGERS OF PAN TANG in a statement: "The band had such a great time in Italy last year and are very excited at the prospect of playing for the fans once again. Italy is the home of Jacopo Meille (vocals) so there is always that special connection and the whole band feel the energy that is generated. See you soon."

TYGERS' new album, "Animal Instinct", was released in Italy, Germany and Scandinavia on June 9, and was made available and in Japan in mid-July via Marquee/Avalon. The CD is also available in the UK and via the band's official web site.

According to a press release, "Animal Instinct", sees the band "go back to their early roots, playing hard-edged rock in the manner of 'Wildcat' and 'Spellbound'."
