TWISTED TOWER DIRE Working On New Material

Virginia's "classic metal" act TWISTED TOWER DIRE are currently writing material for the follow-up to 2003's "Crest of the Martyrs", tentatively due this summer through Remedy Records. Songtitles set to appear on the CD include "Starshine", "Tales of Submission", "Netherworlds", and "Casualties of the Cruel".

In other news, TWISTED TOWER DIRE recently recorded a version of BLACK SABBATH's "Glory Ride" (from "The Eternal Idol" album) for inclusion on a BLACK SABBATH tribute album to be released by Cleopatra Records. Also, Midwest Metal's tribute to Schenker-era UFO, "Spaced Out", featuring TWISTED TOWER DIRE performing "Give Her the Gun" among other bands, will be released April 15. The band have also recorded a cover of "Shoot You in the Back" for Remedy Records' "Motömorphösis - A Tribute To MOTORHEAD Part II", which was released late last year.
