TWISTED SISTER Guitarist EDDIE OJEDA: More Details About Upcoming Solo CD Revealed

July 20, 2005

TWISTED SISTER guitarist Eddie Ojeda has posted the following message on his official web site:

"Hello, I know it's been a while since I've updated this, but things have been crazy and taking much longer than I anticipated.

"I am very happy to announce that I have signed with Black Lotus Records. I can now let you know some more of the guest that will be on my upcoming CD, called 'Axes 2 Axes'. Ronnie James Dio [DIO, RAINBOW, BLACK SABBATH] is singing one of the songs. Dee [Snider, TWISTED SISTER] just finished a vocal track and I have Joe Lynn Turner [RAINBOW, DEEP PURPLE, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN] coming in to sing on a track this Friday. I also have Rudy Sarzo [QUIET RIOT, WHITESNAKE, DIO, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN] playing bass on two tracks and on most of the bass tracks is the one and only Chris McCarvill. Joe Franco [TWISTED SISTER, VINNIE MOORE, JACK BRUCE] is playing drums on everything. I just have a few more songs to finish up on and I will be done. I hope to have it A.S.A.P.

"The Bang Your Head show was a blast as always and Greece is just as great. The crowds in Europe love their hard rock. It was also great to play some shows back in the States the last few days. Sorry we had to postpone the Civic Center show, but we had to help out the Moon Dance Jam Festival because THE DOORS had to cancel. Sorry, guys — we will make it up to you.

"I want to thank all the fans that came out to support Charlie Barreca on his night. And all of the fans that came out to the Long Island show this weekend. Thanks."
