TURMOIL To Enter Studio In March

February 12, 2005

According to Lambgoat, reunited Philadelphia hardcore legends TURMOIL will be entering the studio in mid-March to record new material for their upcoming retrospective release. Tracking had been slated for January, but scheduling conflicts have delayed plans, so recording will now take place March 18-20 at Water Studios with Ted Young at the helm. The group was originally going to record three songs, but will now only record two due to time constraints. Paul Romano (MASTODON, NASUM) will be handling the artwork, and the release should hit stores in early summer. As for the new material, the group states: "We're very excited at the direction of the new material. We can't wait to get into the studio to record and think TURMOIL fans will be blown away." Meanwhile, the group's official reunion show will take place in April or May. Two specific venues in Philadelphia are being looked at, and a decision should be made within the next week couple of weeks. In related news, TURMOIL have enlisted the management services of Worldwidenoize Management and are currently mulling over a few touring possibilities.
